Monarch Developments Est. 1996

This outstanding house extension was designed and built by Monarch to accommodate a large living area and new kitchen extension along with utility room and shower room. The windows and doors are rosewood on white interior PVCu and low emissivity double glazed.

The living area is a gable style with heavy oak veneer clad roof beam. On the side leading to the garden there is bi-fold doors which allows for a large area to be opened when the weather is accommodating. The kitchen extension roof is hipped to the front and side with a flat roof construction on top. This part of the roof has a surface of a rubberised sarnafil which has a 25 year guarantee. Velux windows are also installed to allow for ventilation and light. The front wall features 3 long fixed windows to floor. This is a simple design feature but is hugely effect as a shadow effect and source of light to the kitchen.

The floor of the complete extension is fully insulated and includes a concrete surface. There is water underfloor heating throughout with separate thermostats to each room. The photos display and include the layout of the kitchen and shower room.
